Victory in sight for CD Systems

2012-11-24

Last month’s table-toppers, PJA All Weather, registered another first place in the latest table. Their 45.8 point profit for the four week period under review, gave them a six point advantage over CD Systems with Isiris, Right Price, Personal Info and Gorrie UK all returning solid profits.

Kempton’s floodlit meeting on 1 November proved a night to remember for PJA All Weather who triumphed with Whinging Willie (advised at 18/1) and Capone (15/2). The previous day, 15/2 Desmoiselle Bond had prevailed at Lingfield while Outlaw Torn (17/2, Wolverhampton, 2 November), Dark Lane (9/1, Wolverhampton 5 November) and Peachez (15/2, Wolverhampton, 6 November) maintained the momentum.

Of more significance to the overall 2012 table, though, was Steve Jones’ 39.5 point profit. This means that, with just a month to go, Jones’ CD Systems have what appears to be an unassailable 95 point lead, with Isiris moving stealthily into second and PJA National Hunt in third place.

The month began quietly for CD Systems, but once the winning thread was found there was no stopping this value-seeking service. Six of the last seventeen tips were winners at odds of 5/1, 16/1, 10/1, 13/2, 8/1, 8/1 and 5/1. The two standout victors in that sequence came in a spirited three-day spell beginning with the 16/1 success of Tartiflette at Doncaster on 10 November in the last turf race of the season. The following day’s bet missed out, but 10/1 Cue To Cue was on target at Ffos Las on 12 November. Buck Mulligan (13/2) made it three wins from four selections when successful at Sedgefield the next day.

Since returned to the Besttipping fold in June, Isiris have been a model of consistency and they retained their 100% record with a sixth consecutive winning month. Highlight of the period under review was the Leicester victory of 9/1 advice Cracking Lass on 29 October, while The Romford Pele and Tidal Way combined to produce a pleasing win-double on 15 November.

Another relative newcomer, Right Price Racing, continue to move in the right direction. They began proofing tips to us in August and in that short period have secured a profit in three out of four four-weekly reviews. War On, a successful 12/1 Wetherby advice on 17 November certainly helped the cause, as did 7/1 Benbane Head (Towcester, 8 November) and two 5/1 victors, Boonga Roogeta (Yarmouth 30 October) and Quan (Southwell, 5 November).

Nine of Personal Info’s last fourteen selections have found their way into the winners’ enclosure with four of the other five finishing second and one third. It all adds up to yet another profitable month – the fiftieth this ultra-consistent service has achieved in 61 months of operation.

Gorrie UK celebrated November with two winning 16/1 advices – Cubanita (Doncaster, 10 November) and Ensnare (Wolverhampton, 17 November). Gorrie also found the winner of the first big jumps test of the season, the Paddy Power Gold Cup, in the shape of Paul Nicholls’ Al Ferof, an 8/1 advice.
