ROYAL ASCOT QUARTET SEND BOYLE TO THE HEAD OF THE FIELD

2015-06-27

It was a case of history repeating itself as James Boyle reprised last June’s table-topping performance with another headline stealing display. In 2014 he held a slim advantage of 6.5 points over second placed Those2opoose, but this year he finished with 50.5 points, 27 points clear of the runner-up, Steve Jones’ Daily Bargain. First Favourite finished third, making it six profitable months out of six so far this year for this ultra-consistent service.

What a month it proved to be for James Boyle. From 43 selections, he found nine winners: a strike rate of more than 20% with selection odds averaging over 10/1. On 12 June he gave three selections (all running at York): Donny River (10/1), Gran Canaria Queen (7/1) and Saved By The Bell (15/2) and all three won. At Royal Ascot on 18 June Space Age scored at rewarding odds of 12/1 and the following day the Boyle magic worked again at Royal Ascot with Illuminate (4/1), Muhaarar (14/1) and Arab Dawn (7/1) all triumphing. And the month came to a glorious conclusion with two Newcastle selections, Bushcraft (5/1) and Zarwaan (5/1) finding their way into the winners’ enclosure on 27 June. This haul has propelled Boyle up to third place in the 2015 table, behind Isiris’ Mark Your Card and Bet Advisor’s John Sills.

Second position in the June table was fitting reward for a typically robust display by Steve Jones’ Daily Bargain Service. A 26% strike-rate during the period under review (31 May to 27 June) ensured a healthy profit with 9/1 advice Liberty Red (Pontefract, 21 June) leading the way. Six other winning advices were secured, a sequence that included two 7/1 tips – Donncha (Goodwood, 7 June) and Cantari (Doncaster, 14 June) and a 6/1 victor, Express Himself (Haydock, 10 June). As a result of this month’s efforts, Daily Bargain move up to fourth in the 2015 table, one place behind James Boyle Racing.

Once again First Favourite finished the month in profit, maintaining a 100% record – six profitable months from six so far this year. Since joining Besttipping in the spring of 2014, this consistent service has secured profits in 11 months out of a possible 14 – a 78% success rate. This month’s record reads seven winning selections from 15 (58%) and subscribers who followed the service’s prescribed betting plan would have seen their bankroll increase by 23%. Overall in 2015, First Favourite has thus far secured 46 winners from 79 selections, during which time the bankroll has more than doubled.

Richard Dunwoody also enjoyed a profitable June with a 25% strike-rate and each-way returns on an 8/1 chance that finished second. The highlight was the victory of Chadic (5/2, Newcastle, 26 June).

Middleton Racing Services scored with Royal Ascot winner Free Eagle (100/30, 17 June), while Personal Info’s Saturday Only service, Steve Jones’ Probets, Personal Info and Those2oppose were also among the winners.
