PJA Racing continue to prosper

After the table-topping efforts of PJA’s All Weather service in February and the National Hunt service in March, it has been the turn of the PJA Flat service to shine. Between 25 April and 22 May, this service amassed a 55.8 point profit, thanks to a dazzling run of success. Handsome-priced winners were found on a near-daily basis with Tartan Gigha (14/1), Osteopathic Remedy (8/1), Foxhaven (8/1), Hollow Green (17/2) and Cote D’Argent (10/1) leading the way.

    Bookies Enemy posted another strong month, finishing with a 52.8 point profit. During the period under review, 23 horses were recommended. Ten won and a further eight were placed. Successful recommendations included Kadount (13/8) and What’s Up Doc (9/4) - advised in singles and as a double for a 30.6 point yield on 4 May. Seven days later, two components in a win trixie advice, Cockney Trucker and Distant Thunder, were victorious, helping to secure an 18.6 point profit on the bet.

    Regular readers will not be surprised to learn that May was another profitable month for Personal Info. Amazingly, this service has now made a profit in 28 out of the last 31 months. Highlights this month included a run of four straight wins between 26 April and 5 May.

    A monthly profit of 11.1 points helped PJA All Weather extend its lead at the top of the 2010 Besttipping table. The annual gain now stands at 96.7 points, more than 16 points ahead of stablemate PJA National Hunt, with Personal Info in third place with 65.4 points.

    Southern Regent’s Southwell win on 11 May was the pick of PJA All Weather’s month. Advised at 10/1, the Ian Brennan ridden veteran was backed down to 15/2 at the off. Other winning tips included 5/1 chances Thebes and Night Lily.

    Although losing ground to PJA All Weather in the overall table, PJA Racing’s National Hunt service did return a 5.1 point profit thanks to winners such as 9/1 Pascha Bere, 9/1 Alderley Rover, and three 7/1 advices, Son of Flicka, Crazy Bold and Spare Me.

    Gorrie UK was also in profit this month, to the tune of 6.8 points. The David Pipe-trained Chester Cup hero Mamlook was one of two 9/1 advices this month, Goodwood winner Final Victory was the other.

These selections (the same ones they are sending out to their regular subscribers) are later settled against the day's results and entered into the Besttipping database. Looking back over the performances of our tipsters since we started collecting data in October 2005, what strikes me most is the incredible consistency shown by the top performers. This is not to say though that they will never have negative weeks or even months. In fact they ALL have, and will no doubt have more in the future. The important thing to appreciate when deciding to subscribe to a service is that it has to be a long term investment to be worthwhile. It is true that you may subscribe for a month and be lucky enough to show a huge return, but the consistent and reliable returns are shown over time.
