PJA lead the way

What was shaping up into a useful month for PJA Flat, became a very good one when, on 19 July, four out of five selections were successful. Glenluji (advised at 6/1) and Silent Lucidity (5/1) were afternoon winners at Ayr, while 16/1 Windsor advice, Urban Space, and Solicitor, a 9/2 Beverley tip, completed a lucrative day.

The in-form service continued its winning ways with a 13.2 profit on 23 July, thanks to a brace of winners, Avonrose (9/2) and Spirit Is Needed (16/1). The good work was continued the following day when Classic Punch (5/1) and Skyfire (8/1) were winners, helping to produce a 12.8 point profit on the day.

This outstanding run of form has sent PJA Flat soaring up to third in the 2010 tipster table, behind PJA’s other two services, PJA All Weather and PJA National Hunt. Between them, the PJA stable of stars have posted a 254.2 profit so far this year.

Newcomers, Ostlers Racing Club, have made an impressive start. Between 16 June and 1 July, this service advised four straight winners, at odds of 5/1, 8/1, 15/1 and 9/2.  A handful of bets since have yielded profits on placed each-way advices Silly Gilly (11/1) and Kings Gambit (19/1).

Followers of Alex Gorrie’s UK Service enjoyed a highly profitable month with a 12 point profit to stakes, which equates to an impressive 48 point profit to level stakes. There were several high points: eight winners from nine selections over a three day period between 2 and 4 of July, and a 100% strike-rate for the three day period beginning on the 19 July, to mention just two.  

Sandown proved to be a profitable course, as far as Gamblers Reunited were concerned. Three successful gambles were landed at the Esher course during the four-week period under review. Stotsford (5/1) and Beachfire (3/1) delivered the goods at the two-day Eclipse Meeting, while 5/1 advice Kakotosi was a winner on 21 July. These all helped towards an 8 point profit this time around.

Whilst not producing the fireworks like PJA Flat, PJA All Weather and PJA National Hunt also had their share of winners. The jumping service found Wikaala (11/2) and Breaking Storm (11/1) while the All Weather service enjoyed something of a feast day on 12 July with Prime Exhibit (7/1) and Dabbers Ridge (9/1) contributing to a single day profit of 21.5 points.

Steve Jones’ Daily Bargain service was also among the winners, notably Kay Gee Be (5/2), Patavium (9/2) and You’relikemefrank (11/4).

Besttipping receive selections from all the tipsters well before the start time of the event. These selections (the same ones they are sending out to their regular subscribers) are later settled against the day's results and entered into the Besttipping database. Looking back over the performances of our tipsters since we started collecting data in October 2005, what strikes me most is the incredible consistency shown by the top performers. Not only are the same names who were at the top of our tables in December still at the top, but the amount of profit shown to their clients has increased steadily.

This is not to say though that they will never have negative weeks or even months. In fact they ALL have, and will no doubt have more in the future. The important thing to appreciate when deciding to subscribe to a service is that it has to be a long term investment to be worthwhile. It is true that you may subscribe for a month and be lucky enough to show a huge return, but the consistent and reliable returns are shown over time.
