PJA Flat defy Ostlers in tight finish

PJA Flat, table toppers in April, again headed the list in May, narrowly denying The Ostlers Racing Club with PJA National Hunt also showing a healthy profit to claim third place.

            The highlight for PJA Flat was a devastating day of bookie destruction on 5 May when five selections yielded four winners: Pelham Crescent (9/1 Ffos Las), Jutland (8/1, Chester), Mymumsaysimthebest (5/1, Goodwood) and Annelko (5/1, Ffos Las).

            Nine days after this impressive haul, 18/1 advice Silver Wind, prevailed in a nineteen-runner handicap at Doncaster under Robert Winston.  PJA Flat were also on the scoresheet that day with 8/1 selection, Galatian, a gutsy winner over seven furlongs at Newmarket.

            Apart from the winners mentioned above, PJA Flat also unearthed a further nine winners priced between 11/2 and 7/1 during the five-week period under review. They ended May with a near 26 point profit and now stand in second place in the overall 2011 table, four points behind stable companion PJA All Weather.

            Third in the 2011 table sit The Ostlers Racing Club, who made a perfect start to May when advising the Godolphin-owned Blue Bunting in the 1,000 Guineas. Ridden by Frankie Dettori, Blue Bunting duly obliged at odds of 16/1. However, the tipster identified that the Betfair SP was an even tastier 37/1. The Ostlers Racing Club were also on the mark with The Queen’s Dante Stakes winner, Carlton House, and have now run up a tally of five wins from their last eight selections.

            PJA National Hunt enjoyed a profitable May, notching up a 17.8 point yield. Newton Abbot proved to be a happy hunting ground with Kylenoe Fairy (14/1) and Life Of A Luso (7/1) both winning on 5May. No Woman No Cry (7/1) was another winning selection at the 16 May meeting.

            Perth has also been a profitable course recently with Door Boy (6/1), Cabbyl Doo (9/1) and Sotovik (8/1) all receiving the PJA National Hunt endorsement at recent meetings.

            Hoof It (7/1, York, 13 May) and Evervescent (8/1, Haydock, 19 May) helped steer Insideoutracing to a useful monthly profit. Personal Info were also in the black, thanks to 7/2 Gowran Park scorer Cannon Hill and Times Up, 5/2 York victor.

            Richard Dunwoody hit the mark with 12/1 Lingfield winner Perfect Tribute; Bow School (4/1, Wetherby, 26 May) and Grandouet (7/2, Punchestown, 7 May) were winning selections for Bookies Enemy; while Steve Jones Daily Bargain was on form with recent Ripon winner King’s Counsel (7/1).

Besttipping receive selections from all the tipsters well before the start time of the event. These selections (the same ones they are sending out to their regular subscribers) are later settled against the day's results and entered into the Besttipping database. This is not to say though that they will never have negative weeks or even months. In fact they ALL have, and will no doubt have more in the future. The important thing to appreciate when deciding to subscribe to a service is that it has to be a long term investment to be worthwhile. It is true that you may subscribe for a month and be lucky enough to show a huge return, but the consistent and reliable returns are shown over time.
