Bookies Enemy's Noble Mission: to slay the foe

2012-08-25

The impressive form of Bookies Enemy shows little sign of abating. The profit for the four week period up to 25 August was a table-topping 34.6 points. This follows profits of 33.6 points, 32.4 points, 73.6 points and 26.9 points in the four review periods between the start of April and the end of July.

Goodwood was indeed Glorious for this in-form tipster, who triumphed with Frankel’s younger brother, Noble Mission (7/2) in the Gordon Stakes and with The Fugue (4/1) in the Nassau Stakes. Bookies Enemy were also on the mark with Opera Gal, a 6/1 winning advice at Salisbury on 15 August.

It’s extremely rare for a month to pass by without one of the trio of PJA services finishing near the top of the tipster table. This month it was the turn of PJA National Hunt, whose 21.7 point profit earned a worthy second place.

Fontwell Park’s 16 August card yielded two handsomely priced winners: Zhukov (9/1) and The Lemonpie (7/1). Other highlights included 7/1 Favours Brave (Market Rasen, 5 August), Bathwick Man (6/1, Stratford, 29 July) and Hes Our Lad (6/1, Hereford, 2 August).

Less than half a point behind PJA National Hunt were Isiris, whose strong performance was highlighted by the 8/1 Ayr victory of Asgardella, a juvenile filly by the first season sire, Duke of Marmalade. Isiris have enjoyed three profitable months out of four since joining the Besttipping stable in May.

Remarkably another newcomer, Right Price, also finished the period under review with a 21.4 point profit – dead-heating with Isiris for third spot. Right Price concentrate on the Flat, but also provide information on jumping. (Check their tipster page for details of a special offer exclusively for Besttiping followers.) A long string of winners this month included 14/1 Star Links (Wolverhampton, 20 August), Blanc De Chine (10/1, Windsor 20 August) and a further nine in the 4/1 to 8/1 price range.

Richard Dunwoody enjoyed another profitable month which included a run of four successive winners, sparked by the victory of Princess of Orange, a 6/1 victor at Newmarket on 11 August.

The second of this month’s new tipsters, Bluesky, also marked their arrival with a profit. Once again, they are offering a special deal for Besttiping. Check their tipster page for further details.

With just four months to go, the annual Besttipping tipster challenge is hotting up. CD Systems still lead the way. After posting a small profit this time around they stand on 139.9 points. Bookies Enemy and PJA National Hunt are engaged in a mighty tussle for second place, while Isiris have moved up to fourth place.

September promises to be another busy month with the Sprint Cup at Haydock, the St Leger (Doncaster), the Ayr Gold Cup and the Cambridgeshire all set to challenge the minds of our tipping maestros. There will also be plenty of All Weather action and National Hunt racing will step out of its sleepy summer mode.
