Personal Info hit the heights, yet again

2010-11-27

It’s been another astonishing month for the Besttipping stable, with nine of the ten tipsters who regularly send their tips showing a profit, with the tenth missed out by the shortest of short heads.

With winners aplenty, it’s difficult to know where to start. However, the recent record of Personal Info deserves special credit. Since 19 October this ever-consistent service has proofed 18 advices, and remarkably, 14 have won and four of the other five finished runner-up (a near 78% strike-rate). If we present the results in form-figure style, the record reads: 111111211221115111. With six wins from the last seven advices, it is clear Personal Info are in the form of their lives as we enter the last month of 2010.

Much the same can be said of Bookies Enemy, who consolidated last month’s monster profit of 136.3 points, with another impressive 58.9 point gain. Dubara Reef, a 12/1 winner at Catterick on 2 November, caught the eye as did Dorabelle (9/2) and Tocca Ferro (7/2).  By the close of play on 27 November, Bookies Enemy led the 2010 table with a 212.5 profit.

In second, with a 160.5 point profit are PJA National Hunt. Their cause was aided by a 29.9 point yield this month. As usual there was a steady stream of wins with the three most impressive coming in the last eight days. Altan Khan (8/1) struck at Musselburgh on 19 November, a day before 7/1 Huntingdon winner, Mud Monkey, was recommended. Then, on the final day of the review, 10/1 selection Mount Oscar landed the spoils under Sam Twiston-Davies at Newbury.

PJA’s All Weather service added 12.8 points to their overall tally. They are now in third place in the 2010 table with 123 points, 9.1 points ahead of the PJA Flat service which ended the turf season with a highly creditable figure of 113.9 points. In terms of points gained, this year’s total was better than that for 2009 when, of course, PJA Flat topped the table. Yet another sign of how well the Besttipping tipsters are doing this year.

Insideoutracing, Gamblers Reunited and Gorrie UK all posted healthy profits with each finding a pleasing number of attractively priced winners. Macville a winning 8/1 advice at Down Royal on 5 November started the fireworks for Insideoutracing. An impressive display reached its peak when Isleman (a 16/1 recommendation) scored at Wolverhampton two weeks later.

Gamblers Reunited enjoyed three successive winning Saturdays with 4/1 Skint, 9/2 Take Ten and 9/2 Silviniaco Conti all producing the goods. Meanwhile, Gorrie UK continued to find winners including two from two selections on both the 15 and 17 November. After another two winner haul on the 19th the month ended on a high note when all three selections on the 26 November found their way into the winners’ enclosure.

Ostlers Racing Club were on the mark with 15/8 Lady Lam at Kempton on 2 November, while Steve Jones won with 13/2 Lowther and 11/2 Bonnie Prince Blue.

Great Graphs and Functionality Sign up for free to Besttipping.

Besttipping receive selections from all the tipsters well before the start time of the event. These selections (the same ones they are sending out to their regular subscribers) are later settled against the day's results and entered into the Besttipping database. The result is that we are able to display a complete and accurate (and above all, independently verifiable!) record of how each service is performing over a period of time.

Many tipsters claim impressive track records and in some cases, these results are undoubtedly true. Claims though, are very easy to make and without proper policing and easily understandable analysis it is difficult for the potential customer to subscribe with any real confidence. Besttipping is the only 'Professional' service and is unique in that it offers for free the chance for you to:

  • View results graphically
  • View results by level flat stake (£10, £50 or £100 you decide)
  • View results by points (if the tipster uses this system)
  • View total win value and percentage of winners
  • View results over different periods e.g. 30 days, 90 days, year to date
  • Monitors laying as well as backing services

The importance of long-term subscriptions.

Looking back over the performances of our tipsters since we started collecting data in October 2005, what strikes me most is the incredible consistency shown by the top performers. Not only are the same names who were at the top of our tables in December still at the top, but the amount of profit shown to their clients has increased steadily.

This is not to say though that they will never have negative weeks or even months. In fact they ALL have, and will no doubt have more in the future. The important thing to appreciate when deciding to subscribe to a service is that it has to be a long term investment to be worthwhile. It is true that you may subscribe for a month and be lucky enough to show a huge return, but the consistent and reliable returns are shown over time.

Besttipping is there to identify how tipsters have performed in the past so that you can gauge how they might perform in the future. Having chosen the service you feel offers the best long term value, make a long term commitment and decide on a stake amount which does not overstretch you during the losing periods, while at the same time makes the subscription fee worthwhile.

Best of Luck!!

Besttipping is independently audited by a firm of accountants, to ensure our data is 100% accurate.  Further, the accountants have confirmed that Besttipping proofing procedures are in line with the CAP Help Note on Betting Tipsters.

CAP is the industry facing sister organisation of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).  CAP writes and administers the Code that advertisers (in this case Tipsters) need to comply with and to respond to, consumer complaints about advertisements that fall within the Code's terms of reference.  Besttipping sought advice from CAP when setting procedures for their proofing service and have agreed and put in place a number of procedures in accordance with the CAP Help Note and guidelines for Betting Tipsters.
